2011-2012 Teacher Award Recepients
Each year, UBC’s Okanagan campus recognizes outstanding educators with the Teaching Honour Roll. For this year, the Faculty of Education recipients are: Stephen Berg, Leyton Schnellert, Colleen Lindsay, Anne MacLean and Harold Derksen. Leyton Schnellert received a CATE award
Leyton Schnellert is the recipient of a Recognition Award for Theses and Dissertations on Teacher Education from the Canadian Association for Teacher Education (CATE). Awarded at the CATE post-AGM celebration, Dr. Schnellert presented some of the findings of his dissertation entitled “Collaborative Inquiry: Teacher Professional Development as Situated, Responsive Co-Construction of Practice and Learning” (Abstract).
