Camp Ouareau is an all girls camp located in the Laurentians in the Province of Quebec, Canada. At Ouareau, our goal is to create a positive girl culture so that campers not only feel like they can be themselves, but also thrive as themselves. We help campers feel comfortable, make new friends, try new activities, and safely grow beyond their personal limits.

We are currently looking for:
– Camp counsellors
– Head of Kayak
– Kitchen staff

We take extreme care in hiring the most qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated staff for each Ouareau season. Every staff member that we accept into our organization bring something new and innovative to the summer, whether it is their first or fifteenth year. Our candidates go through a multi-level interview process, ensuring that our staff have a successful and enjoyable camp experience.

Ouareau provides an extensive training period at camp before we open for the season, known as our Staff Development Conference (SDC). SDC focuses on routines and procedures, learning about camper care, and preparing activities and events for the summer. This training also gives our staff a chance to work together as a team before the campers arrive, solidified by team-building workshops and constant feedback and support from supervisors.

Ouareau welcomes applications from all. We aim to be a safer space for everyone-please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our hiring policies.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to chat more about this job opportunity!
