Position Description

YMCA Beyond the Bell By focusing on prevention, the YMCA Beyond the Bell program provides at-risk children in Grades 1–5 with the additional help and attention they need to succeed in their academic studies, build relationships and improve their capacity to grow and learn. Back on Track Back on Track is a dropout prevention program that turns time away from school into a positive experience that promotes helps students develop resilience, autonomy and an ability to persevere at school. Youth Zone Youth Zone operates at the Kelowna Family YMCA for after school hours. It is open to youth aged 12-17 to engage with their community, have a safe environment to learn life skills, and to provide youth a healthy outlet to engage with other youth.
