Position Description

For 2024, we are looking to build on the efforts of previous teacher candidates which not only added content to the museum, but also expanded our offerings for school groups. With this in mind, we are looking to add focused tours for high school-level social studies, history, and related topics. We would also like to develop additional digital content including short films, blogs, articles, etc. Each student will also have the opportunity to have a written piece included in our quarterly newsletter. We would love to have some help in developing French language programming for visitors.

Organization Information

The Westbank Museum is a small heritage society dedicated to the preservation and sharing of the community’s settler history. As part of our efforts we strive to organize and attend community cultural events that allow visitors to learn about the region’s story.
