Position Description
The candidates can assist in both program development and delivery as well as supporting students within the den (or in classrooms, if wanted).

Organization Information
We have a wonderful calming room called the den (as we are the Belgo Bears), run by our Social Emotional Learning Teacher. This space is used in multiple ways: self-referring space for students to self-regulate; support for conflict or problem solving and restitution; learning; place for students to connect with peers doing fun activities.
The SEL teacher also works in conjunction with classroom teachers to deliver lessons to support consistent SEL around the school and promote a common language for students and for staff. She is also connects with families as needed.
