Position Description
Students will assist in co-teaching and develop skills in arts based assessment strategies, classroom management, and differentiation options. These skills will be indispensable for TTOCs as well as anyone going into a classroom teaching position.

Organization Information
South Rutland Elementary is a wonderful and inclusive community-based school. Grade K-5 Music/Drama is open for any practicum students that are looking to bolster and build their arts curriculum, assessment, and classroom management.
SRE community is in a higher-vulnerable community population as such, there are a lot of learning opportunities to build empathy, differentiated practices, and community building experiences. A bonus of this schools is that the class sizes are generally much smaller than other schools and each classroom has at least 1 EA. Given the supports available, this would be a great school for teacher candidates to try their hand at something out of their comfort zone.
