Position Description
The students will begin by researching and familiarizing themselves with the principles of land-based education. Using this knowledge, they will develop and design educational materials that integrate hands-on science activities with expectations from the Ontario Science Curriculum (Grades 4-8) and land-based education principles, ensuring a holistic and culturally relevant learning experience. As part of their work, the students will create four lesson plans, four activity write-ups, and four presentations. Additionally, the students will deliver one of the lessons virtually to First Nation students in First Nation communities, working in collaboration with a local teacher.
The students do not need to travel to Toronto for this CFE, we can work with them online.
