Position Description

The students will learn about Syilx ways of knowing and will assist in the development of curriculum/educational materials on a topic of their choice and learn how to incorporate Syilx perspectives and information in a culturally appropriate way. They will assist in the Fish in Schools program delivery/fry release ceremonies. Their is also the opportunity for on the land learning.


Organization Information

The Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) serves as the governance body representing the Syilx Okanagan Nation, focusing on key areas such as Health and Wellness, Fisheries, and Natural Resources.
