Position Description

Students will assist with program development and prep for summer day camps focused on participants developing multiple literacies (reading, STEM, physical, Social-Emotional, cross-cultural understanding, etc) as well as developing resources and activities for our family reading program. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a few other events and activities such as a book packing shift – sorting & packing books to be shipped to Uganda. The position will be mostly remote, working on your own schedule with weekly check-in meetings. However, there will be a few in-person events and activities to provide the full scope of activities that Niteo is involved in!

Niteo exists to support children and families to develop the literacy skills needed to build bright and hopeful futures! We do this through a glocal approach, supporting global partners in Uganda and running children literacy programs in the Okanagan: our family reading program and summer day camps.
