Curriculum Developer

Position Description

The bulk of the role will have students assisting with curriculum development for our global and local programs. The students and Antonia (NITEO ED) will work together to edit and produce the 2nd edition of our “When We Give Children Books” Open Source resource, and develop the 2nd level of our “Leadership in Literacy” training for our global partners in Uganda. There may also be opportunity to help run a small session of local programming for newcomer families in Kelowna and area.

Expected hours There is some flexibility, but we would be looking at: Tuesdays/Wednesdays: 1-7pm, Thursdays & Fridays: 9am-2pm, Saturdays: 9am-2pm

NITEO exists to support young readers to develop the literacy skills needed to build bright and hopeful futures. We do this globally: through supplying community libraries with books and trainings in Uganda; and locally: through our Family Reading Program for newcomer families in Kelowna.
