Expected Hours: The schedule can be flexible but typically M-F, 5 hours/day, 1 Saturday morning or weekday evening shift sorting books with volunteers.

Position Description

Students will assist with program development for summer day camps focused on participants developing multiple literacies (reading, STEM, physical, Social-Emotional, cross-cultural understanding, etc). Students will also have the opportunity to participate in Niteo’s AGM and a few other events and activities.

The position will be mostly remote, working on your own schedule with weekly check-in meetings. However, there will be a few in-person events and activities to provide the full scope of activities that Niteo is involved in!

Niteo exists to support children and families to develop the literacy skills needed to build bright and hopeful futures! We do this through supporting global partners in Uganda and Ghana and through family reading programs for newcomers in the Okanagan.
