Position Description
May is one of the busiest times for Geering Up as we prepare for and begin our school workshop season and camp seasons. During their posting, CFE students will be engaged in a variety of activities that will utilize the skills that they have developed within the teaching program, and will have the opportunity to make lasting connections with teachers and STEM professionals in the Okanagan. Specially, CFE students may:
- Participate and assist with instructor training training in classroom STEM facilitation
- Co-deliver elementary aged programming in classrooms across the Okanagan
- Work with our Curriculum Development team preparing summer engaging STEM curriculum

UBC Geering Up Engineering Outreach is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting science, engineering and technology to the children and youth of British Columbia through fun, innovative and hands-on experiments and projects.
