Biography

Amber Lavoie (nee: McLeod) is a lecturer at UBC Okanagan’s School of Education. She has been an EAL instructor for over 17 years as well as lived abroad in Mexico and Guatemala. Amber enjoys collaborating with others around curriculum development, assessments, and classroom resources. She invites intercultural awareness and communication to transpire through respectful environments in her classroom.
