Position Description

The UBCO student(s) will assist with program delivery for our outdoor, experiential learning programs. They will be invited to personalize their presentations to compliment their own strengths and knowledge. Our programs are based around salmon, local ecology and Indigenous culture. We host visiting schoolchildren Monday to Thursday. Most of the visiting children are K-7 with the majority being grade 2-3.


Organization Information

Our organization offers place-based, outdoor, experiential learning. We are a community run salmon hatchery and education centre and provide salmon eggs to over 40 local schools. The field trip season (in May and June) offers ecologically based education to thousands of school children annually.
