Position Description
Over the course of a three-week practicum, the student student teacher will immerse themselves in a dynamic K–5 music and drama program, observing and assisting with a wide range of instructional strategies tailored to diverse ability levels and behavioral needs. They will learn classroom management techniques, support differentiated instruction, and participate in assessing student progress.
Organization Information
We are an public elementary school in Kelowna (Rutland). We have a very diverse population in both language, ability, and ethnic origin. It’s a great place for teacher candidates to come and experience a “less than typical” classroom.
