Position Description
The students will design activities, prepare write-ups, and develop 1-hour lesson plans for Grade 8 students in First Nation communities in Ontario. These classes will be delivered online by Pueblo Science and should incorporate effective strategies for remote engagement.
Organization Information
Pueblo Science is an Ontario-based charity dedicated to reducing poverty through science education and innovation in low-resource communities. We train teachers to use low-cost, locally available materials for hands-on STEM activities that foster creativity and problem-solving, and we empower local changemakers through collaborative workshops. We currently have programs in First Nation communities in Ontario, Philippines and Indonesia.
