Position Description

Project 1: Support curriculum development and potentially deliver Occupation Specific Language Program (i.e. Business English, Medical English, Construction English, etc.). Project 2: Adapt Language Course, Settlement Orientation, or Life Skills Workshops for online delivery. Potential involvement from development to delivery. Project 3: Support Diversity & Inclusion initiatives with the OneWorld Youth Crew. Project 4: Write and Promote immigrant stories/Diversity initiatives to support recruitment and broader community education


Organization Information

SOICS is a one-stop shop that provides a range of free services to all immigrants, temporary foreign workers, post secondary international students, and refugees through education, advocacy and projects, which assist in their integration. We have been managing community projects, building partnerships and achieving integration and multicultural outcomes in the South Okanagan-Similkameen region for over 40 years.
