Field experience opportunities could include: – working 1-1 with students supporting co-regulation and teaching/further developing regulation strategies – co-teaching SEL lessons across multiple grades – developing unit kits around Zones of Regulation and/or Random Acts of Kindness curriculum – create calming kits of regulation strategies for classrooms – creating literacy-based SEL stand-alone lessons – facilitating small group instruction through the TEACCH method – facilitate intermurals to teach SEL topics – participate in School-Based Team meetings – learn about other non-enrolling positions in our school

Quigley Elementary School is home to approximately 240 students, kindergarten through grade 5, from a low socio-economic demographic. We are located in Rutland. The Social Emotional Learning (SEL) team is comprised of a 1.0 FTE SEL teacher, 0.5 FTE school Counsellor and a part time ARC support worker.
